History
Palazzo d'Accursio (or Palazzo Comunale) is the historic seat of Bologna's city government, with a façade combining 14th-century elements with Renaissance additions. Its name comes from the jurist Accursius, who had a house here in the 13th century. It still houses the Municipality's offices today, along with the Municipal Art Collections.
